What You'll Do
- →Serves as the Deputy, DLA Distribution Saudi Arabia, a Forwarding Operating Defense Distribution Center or Theater Distribution Platform and a Secondary Level Field Activity within DLA Distribution.
- →Participates with the Commander in directing and managing the work of the Continuing Government Activity responsible for service provider oversight responsibilities.
- →Implements the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) and is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing logistics related programs in support of assigned customers.
- →Analyzes and modifies plans, programs and objectives, recommending major changes to ensure the best possible level of support for the customer.
- →Coordinates and integrates numerous supply, distribution and warehousing functions to provide forward stock positioning within the Southwest Asia Theater of operations and enables efficient and effective customer support.
- →Attends and conducts meetings and conferences with customers, contractors, federal and local officials, and military officers to negotiate or settle controversial issues.
