You will serve as the Director, Shore Operations in the Department of the of the Navy Commander Navy Instillations Command (N3). You will serve as principal advisor to CNIC on all operational matters for Navy Installations and will be responsible for developing shore strategies, plans, and policies related to shore installation management.
What You'll Do
- →You will identify, oversee and direct enterprise-wide efficiency initiatives and cost reduction plans, including joint, inter-service and interagency initiatives and efficiency actions.
- →You will approve the authorized equipment, training standards and billet training requirements, and table of allowances for programs in support of TYCOM man, train, and equip duties.
- →You will analyze CNIC financial and performance data, metrics, and other business data to determine cost effectiveness and to assess the impact or feasibility of various service delivery alternatives.
- →You will be responsible for support to Regional Operations and Warfare Development Directors on issues/concerns related to Operations service delivery and resource support.
- →You will actively facilitates effective day-to-day interaction and communication among all staff members and related contractor support on business related issues.
- →You will track and report the performance of regional Operations programs and subfunctions regarding capability levels and cost.
- →You will develop and maintain a system of metrics used to track the overall performance of each region and program in the accomplishment of its respective service delivery function.
- →You will manage the planning, direction, review, coordination, and supervision o f six operational program areas, including Port Operations, Air Operations, Security and Law Enforcement, Public Safety, Bulk Fuels, and Current Operations.
- →You will utilize professional, military, and personal experience, outside experts, and Fleet input to launch initiatives that improve Operations program performance.
- →Oversee execution, measure success, and modify strategies to optimize results.
- →You will develop and maintain performance metrics tracking regional and program service delivery.
- →Identifies unexpected results and formulates strategic programmatic recommendations to optimize overall accomplishment of functions.
