This position is located at US Mint,Manufacturing Directorate - Philadelphia - Die Manufacturing Division. As a Die Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and directing the work operations within the Die Manufacturing Division, Philadelphia. .
What You'll Do
- →As a Die Production Supervisor, you will: Plan daily, weekly or monthly work schedules and sequence of operations for subordinates.
- →Promote the participation of subordinates in management programs such as beneficial suggestions, quality assurance, and cost reduction.
- →Counsel employees, adjust informal complaints and grievances through discussion with employees and union representatives, and initiates disciplinary actions as needed.
- →Determine how manual assignments can be done correctly or which must be delayed; the number and types of employees needed, considering skills of personnel available to do the work; and the availability of materials and equipment required.
Requirements
- ✓All employees must wear face masks while on MINT property when required by CDC and Federal guidelines.
- ✓All newly appointed employees to the competitive (or excepted) service are subject to a probationary (or trial) period.
- ✓During this time, your performance, conduct, and suitability for continued employment will be evaluated.

- ✓A one year supervisory or managerial probationary period may be required.
- ✓Must successfully complete a background investigation.
- ✓Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required.
- ✓Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
- ✓Have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
- ✓If you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959, certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so.
