You will serve as the Deputy Director, Design and Construction in the office of the Direct Reporting Portfolio Manager Submarines (DRPM SUBS) / Portfolio Acquisition Executive Undersea (PAEU). You will lead multiple offices: the Virginia Class (VCS) Attack Submarine new construction program (a Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP)), the SSN(X) new attack submarine program office (a pre-MDAP), and the Advanced Submarine System Development and Submarine Stealth Integration Program Office.
What You'll Do
- →You will oversee program cost, schedule, and performance while ensuring adequate personnel, funding, facilities, and resources to achieve mission objectives.
- →You will establish guidance and provide executive direction for acquisition, workforce, technical, procurement, and program management activities.
- →You will develop and monitor performance metrics, funding strategies, milestones, technical measures, and resource plans to support successful program execution.
- →You will assess workforce capacity, facilities, tooling, and material readiness across government, industry, and shipyard partners supporting submarine construction.
- →You will provide long-term leadership, management continuity, and supervision of civilian personnel while strengthening workforce capabilities across the enterprise.
- →You will oversee budget execution and fiscal management across multiple appropriations, defense organizations, foreign military sales programs, and international agreements.
