As a Deputy Comptroller for Administrative Operations, you will function as a key advisor to the Senior Deputy Comptroller for Management and Chief Financial Officer on key administrative operations functions including acquisition services, security and emergency management, leasing, office design, facilities management, logistics and supplies, asset management, conference services, and environmental health and safety.
What You'll Do
- →As a Deputy Comptroller for Administrative Operations, you will: Be responsible for the full range of activities and programs relevant to acquisition services, security and emergency management, leasing, office design, facilities management, logistics and supplies, asset management, conference services, and environmental health and safety.
- →Serve as expert policy advisor to the Comptroller and senior OCC officials on all administrative operations issues involving acquisition services, workplace services, security, and emergency management.
- →Assess the effectiveness of the administrative operation programs to ensure that organizational and OCC goals are met and identify areas where operational efficiency can be enhanced.
- →Regularly assess OCC customer satisfaction for responsible program areas and establish and execute satisfaction continuous improvement plans.
- →Lead, motivate, coach and develop the Administrative Operations staff and provide executive direction to contracted workforce.
- →Plan and assign work to be accomplished by direct-reports and subordinate supervisors.
- →Make decisions on work problems elevated by subordinates.
- →Establish objectives and goals in support of the OCC strategic plan.
- →Develop short and long term plans and establish organizational priorities.
- →Provide strategic planning and resource management to ensure that the activities support the OCC objectives and goals, and to ensure adherence to Federal, Treasury and Office of Management and Budget (OMB) laws, rules, and guidelines.
- →Be responsible for the overall planning, direction, and timely execution of programs.
Requirements
- ✓This position requires that the successful candidate undergo personnel vetting, which includes a background investigation and enrollment upon onboarding into "Continuous Vetting." Enrollment in Continuous Vetting will result in automated record checks being conducted throughout one's employment with Treasury.
- ✓The successful candidate will also be enrolled into FBI's Rap Back service, which will allow Treasury to receive notification from the FBI of criminal matters (e.g., arrests, charges, convictions) involving enrolled individuals in near real-time.
- ✓There are three key documents that contain important information about your rights and obligations.
- ✓Complete a one-year probationary period (unless already completed).
- ✓Complete a one-year supervisory or managerial probationary period (unless already completed).
- ✓Complete a background investigation (unless already completed).
- ✓Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment.
- ✓Have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
- ✓Go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form I-9.
- ✓Federal law requires verification of the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires in the U.S.
- ✓Travel occasionally to attend conferences and/or training.
- ✓Obtain and use a Government-issued charge card for business-related travel.
- ✓Complete a financial disclosure review and resolve any ethics issues.
