This position is located in the Office of the Administrator and serves as the principal deputy to the Chief Operating Officer. The incumbent leads agency operations, executive management support, installation and support services, and high-priority initiatives, and ensures effective execution of operational priorities, management initiatives, and customer service across headquarters and field locations.
What You'll Do
- →Help develop and guide short- and long-term strategic plans, including priorities for budget, staffing, and technology.
- →Build and maintain strong working relationships with senior SBA leaders to support planning, budgeting, and operational needs.
- →Assist in creating and tracking operating plans to ensure programs align with SBA mission goals.
- →Lead or coordinate sensitive, high-impact projects related to agency programs, policies, and operations.
- →Develop clear plans, systems, and implementation strategies for major organizational initiatives.
- →Represent leadership in meetings, conferences, and discussions with government agencies, partners, and stakeholders, as assigned.
- →Support oversight of team work plans and monitor progress to improve performance and meet organizational goals.
- →Identify and recommend organizational improvements, including process changes, restructuring options, and program enhancements.
Requirements
- ✓Conditions of Employment Must be a U.S.
