About the Role

The Division of Enforcement is seeking a Supervisory General Attorney(Core Assistant Director) in Denver and Fort Worth Regional Office. As a Core Assistant Director, you will manage and coordinate the work of your team and perform a full range of supervisory duties.

What You'll Do

  • In this role as a Core Assistant Director, you will be responsible for: Supervises staff members who interact with the public and evaluates complaints and other allegations of potential misconduct related to Federal securities laws, rules and regulations.
  • Enforces federal securities laws, sets priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.
  • Recommends promotions or reassignments; hears and resolves complaints; mentors and trains staff; and identifies development and training opportunities for employees.
  • Participates with other supervisors in the management of the office, consults with and advises senior managers on administrative matters relating to budget, personnel, and office procedures Manages and coordinates the work of teams, which can include attorneys, accountants, experts and support staff, and performs a full range of supervisory duties.

  • Qualifying education must have been obtained from an accredited college or university recognized by the U.S.
  • Department of Education.

  • If required transcripts or certificates are not present in your eOPF, you will be required to provide them to OHR.
  • If selected, a start date will not be established until official transcripts are received.
  • FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs.
