About the Role
About the Position: The U.S. Army Contracting Command was established on March 14, 2008. The mission of the ACC is to oversee more than $85 billion in contracts annually and focus on maintaining and improving the Army's ability to respond globally in support of the warfighter's needs.
What You'll Do
- →Serve as Procuring Contracting Officer to approve/execute contract actions.
- →Perform senior technical authority for assigned procurements to ensure regulatory compliance.
- →Respond to pre-award inquiries to resolve questions.
- →Maintain contact with contractors to monitor progress.
- →Develop Justification and Approval document for review.
- →Analyze bids and proposals for conformance with the solicitation.
- →Monitor assigned work to ensure efficiency of procurement team.
- →Review procurement data packages to assign to appropriate specialist for action.
