Contract Specialist (P-Card Analysis)

About the Role
This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Air Force Services Center at Port San Antonio, TX. This is a regular full-time category position with guaranteed 40 hrs. per week. Employees appointed to a regular category position are eligible for benefits.
What You'll Do
- →Conducts reviews and analysis of Purchasing Card (P-Card) policies, functions, and programs.
- →Uses quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze policy and process implementation.
- →Assesses functional areas, develop trend analysis, and conduct fact-finding.
- →Prepares and delivers reports on findings and makes recommendations to procurement specialists and managers for NAF spend analysis.
- →Evaluates existing procurement processes that may impact P-Card transformation.
- →Identifies impediments, recommend process improvement, performs studies to determine the necessity for revision of requirements; changes in data collection process, establishment of new or reviewed metrics, or other changes.
- →Conducts special P-Card reviews to identify practices and procedures that deviate from policy or directive.
- →Performs procurement planning analysis, identifies products and services for inclusion in the Government Purchase Card (P-Card) program.
- →Creates, updates and makes formal presentations, conduct professional seminars, workshops and training sessions to teach personnel at Base and AFNAFPO levels their P-Card responsibilities.
