About the Role
You will serve as a CONTRACT SPECIALIST in the CONTRACTS DIRECTORATE of NAVAL SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY.
What You'll Do
- →You will work independently as a team member under the supervision of a Supervisory Contract Specialist.
- →You will provide contracting support to designated programs/ projects.
- →You will independently prepare incremental funding modifications.
- →You will prepare/demonstrate proficiency in the following areas: contract structure, contract types selection, market research, exercising an option, business clearance, RPF, justification and approvals and changes clause with assistance.
- →You will prepare a variety of official materials, and work with a team to accomplish assigned projects.
Requirements
- ✓Applicants who meet the criteria for Superior Academic Achievement qualify for positions at the GS-7 level.
