About the Position: This position will serve as a Contract Price/Cost Analyst within the Pricing Division, Mission Operations Directorate. Management may select at either the GS-11 or GS-12 grade level.
What You'll Do
- →Recommend cost limitations to be imposed based on the reasonableness of profit or fee.
- →Provide cost breakdowns to determine applicability of contracts.
- →Negotiate adjustments of the contract price.
- →Recommend provisions for progress or advance payments to supplement the contractor's working capital.
- →Administer advance or progress payments to minimize risk to the government.
- →Serve as Field Pricing Specialist for on-site audits at contractor's plants.
- →Maintain contact with representatives of contractors and various Defense Department Administrative and Audit Agencies.
- →Monitor post award review of small purchase actions for preceding quarter.
- →Prepare Termination Notices to terminate contracts for convenience of the government.
- →Coordinate with Termination Contracting Officers to Negotiate settlements agreements.
