About the Position: This position is located at Spangdahlem Commissary within the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA). The incumbent performs Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO) tasks under general supervision, and is responsible for all CAO system and item maintenance affecting the in-stock position for assigned area of responsibility.
What You'll Do
- →Works with the store stocking supervisor and crew members to integrate and maintain the Computer Assisted Ordering Technician system.
- →Interfaces with all levels of store management on Computer Assisted Ordering issues as needed, and deals directly with commercial distributor representative and vendor stocking representatives on issues affecting Computer Assisted Ordering.
- →Evaluates stock levels of all Computer Assisted Ordering categories daily, by physically reviewing the storage and display shelf locations, shippers and warehouse.
- →Accurately identifies phase out, deleted, and mis-picked products and processes accordingly.
- →Predicts fluctuating needs of the customer to proactively position the inventory of the store throughout the year.
