Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! What You'll Do

  • Primary responsibilities are to perform administrative and operational tasks associated with Food & Hospitality facilities as assigned by the Club, Catering and Events Operations Officer.
  • Provides administrative and clerical support to Food & Hospitality Clubs & Bars.
  • Operates a personal computer and peripheral equipment to produce a variety of civilian and military correspondence, spreadsheets, charts, reports, recaps and graphs, using a wide variety of software programs.
  • Executes site pricing file changes and audits to ensure accuracy of data.
  • Executes new vendor creations.
  • Screens incoming telephone calls, determining those, which can be answered, and those, which must be referred.
  • May make arrangements for meetings including space and time and notifies those who are to attend of the topics to be discussed.
  • Prepares detailed or summary reports for meetings.
  • Establishes and maintains subject matter files and records.
  • Types complex correspondence such as statistical reports, budget spreadsheets, financial statements, directives from handwritten drafts or oral instructions in accordance with available guidelines and instructions by utilizing a personal computer.
  • Responsible for correct spelling, punctuations, and proofreading and typed materials.
  • Understands and follows catering and club procedures ensuring timely communication is maintained and pertinent information is dispensed.
  • Ensures quality in service, food, and beverage products.
  • Maintains private party logbook and contract files.
