Located at Zia Health Center in Zia Pueblo, NM, this position serves as the lead administrator and tribal liaison, overseeing daily clinic operations and ensuring the delivery of primary care, pharmacy, and specialty health services to the Zia Pueblo community. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
What You'll Do
- →Oversees daily operations of the Zia Health Center, managing budgets, staffing, and operational resources to support patient care.
- →Leads performance improvement initiatives, policy development, and strategic planning.
- →Planning and implementing changes to clinical support services to align with organizational goals.
- →Serves as primary liaison and official point of contact between Albuquerque Service Unit and tribal officials.
- →Represents organization during tribal meetings and events.
- →Supervises and provides direction to program employees, including Physician, Dentist, Pharmacist and several supporting positions.
Requirements
- ✓Selectee may be subject to a probationary period ESEP appointees typically serve a two year trial period U.S.
- ✓Citizenship is required Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959 This is a designated position covered by Public Law 101-630, requiring contact or control over Indian children.

- ✓A one-year supervisory/managerial probationary period may be required upon selection/placement.
