What You'll Do
- →At the full performance level (GS-12) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Coordinates the storage, release, and conveyance of water through the Fryingpan-Arkansas Project (Fry-Ark) system through continuous and close coordination and interaction with internal and external customers.
- →Assist in a variety of operations at Fry-Ark facilities and Eastern Colorado Area Office projects to meet obligations, environmental requirements, and regulatory requirements.
- →Develop water supply forecasts Provide current information on policy, resource management, water regulations, and technical requirements to stakeholders.
- →Work on complex or controversial water issues whose solutions require a proven understanding of hydrology, engineering, water resource and reservoir management, and other applicable disciplines.
Requirements

- ✓Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication.

- ✓Under applicable law, the employment of an individual serving a probationary or trial period automatically terminates when that period ends unless the agency affirmatively certifies, in writing, that the individual's employment should continue and that their appointment should be finalized.
- ✓In the absence of agency action to affirmatively certify continued employment beyond the probationary or trial period, such appointments are terminated.
