This position serves as the Health System Administrator (Chief Executive Officer) for the Santa Fe Service Unit in Santa Fe, NM. The incumbent directs and oversees ambulatory healthcare operations, strategic planning, financial management, quality improvement, and healthcare delivery programs serving eligible Native American populations. Reports to the Area Director, Albuquerque Area IHS. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
What You'll Do
- →Directs and oversees the overall operation of the Santa Fe Service Unit ambulatory healthcare facility and off-site outpatient services.
- →Provides executive leadership for strategic planning, healthcare delivery, quality improvement, and accreditation compliance activities.
- →Manages financial operations, budget development, and third-party revenue programs including Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance.
- →Supervises clinical and administrative managers, human resources activities, and organizational performance management.
- →Collaborates with Tribal leaders, community organizations, and stakeholders to support healthcare programs and improve services for the Native American population served.
Requirements
