About the Position: Serves as project manager and technical expert for assigned aspects of the maintenance of channels and harbor navigation projects.
What You'll Do
- →Responsible for the design of the maintenance plan of channel and navigation projects.
- →Performs reconnaissance, planning, budgeting, scheduling, environmental coordination, negotiations, scopes of work for the formulation of plans and specifications.
- →Determines the quantity and type of material to be dredged, the preferred and alternate dredge material management and constraints to perform the dredging.
- →Prepares and distributes public notices.
- →Coordinates with responsible local sponsors and interests to ensure that disposal sites, real estate permits, and other necessary local permit requirements are provided.
