About the Position: This position is located at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Execute purchases using the Government Purchase Card (GPC) or by initiating purchase requests, maintains purchase records, and provides monthly transaction reports to the budget analyst and funding activity.
- →Responsible for managing budgetary and administrative aspects of temporary duty travel (TDY).
- →Monitors performance compliance, and preparing monthly receiving reports to enable vendor payment.
- →Assists in developing service contract requirements, justifications, independent cost estimates and market research for the department.
- →Maintains all purchase requests submitted to finance, logistics, and contracting divisions.
- →Maintains the department calendar of meetings and conferences, reviews incoming correspondence, identifies suspense requirements, and establishes suspense controls.
- →Prepare routine forms and documentation, including contract requests, cost comparisons, independent government estimates, Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Statement of Work (SOW) reviews, and market research.
