About the Role
About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the ST-IC-W1U301 US ARMY INTELLIGENCE AND SECURITY CMD, Fort Meade, Maryland. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized.
What You'll Do
- →Oversee the administrative control of funds, exercising authority to commit and obligate Command financial resources and for certifying and monitoring the availability of Operations and Maintenance, agency programs and functions.
- →Operate with full technical authority and responsibility for directing and administering the resource management and budget activities to ensure optimal effectiveness, efficiency and utilization of resources.
- →Advise on all budgetary matters and fiscal implications of policy and legislative proposals.
- →Develop and publish policies, procedures and guidance for the formulation and budget execution of new and current agency and outside agency programs.
- →Provide expert guidance and assistance in support of the development of long-range project and budget planning documents to support life cycle management.
- →Prepare the plans and exercises delegated authority for funds management and control.
