About the Role
This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA - OC/PACIFIC.
What You'll Do
- →Plans, formulates, and executes Operations and Maintenance (OM), Procurement, while overseeing all phases of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) ensuring resources are aligned with mission and operational requirements.
- →Provides authoritative advice and recommendations to the Commander, Deputy Commander, Division Chiefs, and Program Managers on personnel and financial policies and the impact of regulatory and policy changes affecting command operations.
- →Develops and implements policy memoranda, standard operating procedures (SOPs), internal controls, and process improvements to strengthen compliance with DoD and Agency regulations across the organization.
- →Oversees civilian payroll administration, Government Purchase Card (GPC) operations, and Defense Travel System (DTS) programs.
- →Ensures transactions are accurate, compliant with applicable laws and regulations, and properly documented in systems such as DAI, DCPS, and DTS.
Requirements
- ✓There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-13 grade level.
