About the Role
This position is located in the Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC) Business Center (BC), Budget Division, Commodity Credit Corporation. This is a developmental position. The incumbent performs developmental assignments under supervision. The incumbent carries out a broad range of budgetary and administrative functions to implement budgetary programs, policies, and procedures.
What You'll Do
- →Assists higher graded specialists in the preparation of budget estimates and justification by providing relevant information and advice to program managers.
- →Assists with preparing fund status reports for senior management.
- →Reviews historical data and current spending information and trends to support the development of consolidated budget estimates for core activities.
- →Enters and adjusts data for the programs into regular and recurring reports, forms and schedules.
- →Assists in establishment of activity schedules to meet planned objectives.
- →Providing factual, technical information to co-workers or supervisors regarding the status of budget data, required documentation, or basic funding procedures.
- →Reviewing transactions or budget documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with clearly established procedures or instructions.
Requirements
- ✓You must be a US Citizen or US National.
- ✓Males born after 12/31/1959 must be Selective Service registered or exempt.
- ✓Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check.
- ✓If selected, you may be sent instructions on obtaining fingerprints.

- ✓As a condition of employment for accepting this position, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period unless previous federal service is creditable.
