The primary purpose of this position is to provide a budget analyst who is fully responsible for the overall technical aspects of budget and management of resources for specific programs and appropriations. The incumbent of this position may also provide advice and assistance to lower graded aralysts in the office. **Salary ranges include local market supplements.**
What You'll Do
- →Budget formulation work in support of major initiatives/programs in volving preparation of detailed analyses and estimates of annual and/or multi-year funding.
- →Performs budget execution work involving monitoring obligations incurred and resulting expenditures of funds and the administration and review of requests for funds for distribution to program managers.
- →Provides financial advisory services on budget-related matters such as types of funding available, effects of budgetary changes on related activities, status and use of funds, etc.
- →Provides expert technical advice on all aspects of budgeting to include review and analysis to ensure program compliance with financial guidance.
