About the Role
We are looking to fill Budget Analyst, GS-0560-7/9, positions in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). As a Budget Analyst, you will perform a variety of routine budget analysis assignments that require the application of well-established budget principles, theories, and concepts.
What You'll Do
- →Review and analyze routine budget requests to ensure their consistency, accuracy, and adherence to instructions.
- →Develop a consolidated budget, and review and draft statements for justifying funding requests.
- →Review budget submissions for compliance with rules, regulations, and procedures.
- →Research, consolidate, and summarize budgetary data from source documents, automated budgetary systems, accounting records, and reports for use in preparing budget estimates and annual financial plans.
- →Monitor, review, and reconcile commitments, obligations, and expenditures.
