- →MFH is widely responsible for production, asset management and portfolio oversight, and recapitalization of assisted properties, and field operations.
- →As part of the National Housing Act of 1934, Congress created the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) which later became a part of the Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) Office of Housing in 1965.
- →As a/an Branch Chief Underwriter Team, you will: Responsible for oversight of staff managing the efficient and effective coordination and accomplishment of planning, scoping, development design, construction, and operation of major multifamily insured and capital advance projects.
- →Provide technical and supervisory leadership to staff who evaluate and oversee Lender applications and development teams' integration of management agent and owner responsibilities into a comprehensive asset development and management plan for each project application that is fully coordinated with all contributing partners, including those in various development disciplines.
- →This is necessary to establish firm control and management of the project's construction budget and schedule, assuring that HUD's commitments to the sponsor/customer are met.
- →The Branch Chief is expected to mentor junior staff, oversee training and other staff development activities, and manage pipeline priorities.
Requirements
- ✓The official duty station for this position will be in Detroit, Michigan.
- ✓Failure to report to duty at this location may be grounds for a disciplinary action, including removal.
- ✓Key Requirements: Must be U.S.
- ✓Citizen or U.S.
- ✓A one year supervisory or managerial probationary period may be required.
- ✓Must successfully complete a background investigation.
- ✓Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required.
- ✓Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
- ✓Have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
