The Office of Information Technology (OIT), Project Management Office (PMO) is seeking applicants for their Supervisory IT Specialist (Branch Chief - Project Management Office) position. In this role, you will serve as an agency IT expert and authoritative consultant in the planning, execution, and monitoring of agency projects in support of both OIT and other SEC program teams.
What You'll Do
- →In this role as a Branch Chief - Project Management Office, you will be responsible for: Having strong expertise in project and program management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- →Establishing and maintaining governance, standards, and consistent project practices.
- →Utilizing portfolio management skills, including prioritization, strategic alignment, and executive reporting.
- →Leading and managing PMO staff and influence senior stakeholders.
- →Utilizing project management and reporting tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Power BI).
- →Possessing strong communication and stakeholder-management capabilities.
- →Interpreting project data, identifying risks, and driving corrective actions.
