This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. What You'll Do
- →You will collect and assemble data from wildlife for use by management, and state and federal agencies.
- →You will perform routine maintenance of Red-cockaded Woodpecker cavity trees through manual removal of vegetation and control burning.
- →You will perform beach monitoring for nesting sea turtles.
- →You will record biological information from nesting sea turtles and tag individual turtles following guidelines as established by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service.
- →You will record and maintains accurate records of information and biological data collected.
Requirements
- ✓You may also meet the minimum qualifications through education and/or combination of education and experience.
- ✓GS-04: Successfully completed at least two full academic years of education above high school that includes at least 12 semester hours in any combination of scientific or technical courses such as biology, chemistry, statistics, entomology, animal husbandry, botany, physics, agriculture, or mathematics.
- ✓At least 6 semester hours of courses must be directly related to the position to be filled.
- ✓OR Have a combination of experience and post high school education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
- ✓At least 6 semester hours of courses must have been directly related to the position to be filled.
- ✓OR Have a combination of experience and post high school education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
