About the Role

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Auto Hobby Complex in Ramstein, AB, Germany. This position is responsible for the oversight of all functions within the Auto Hobby Complex to include Auto Annex, Auto Recycling and the Auto Hobby Shop and reports directly to the to the Arts and Crafts Operations Manager and is responsible for the management, administration, technical and operations of the program. This position may offer logistical support.

What You'll Do

  • This position is responsible for the oversight of all functions within the Auto Hobby Complex to include Auto Annex, Auto Recycling and the Auto Hobby Shop and reports directly to the to the Arts and Crafts Operations Manager and is responsible for the management, administration, technical and operations of the program.
  • Reviews, analyzes and interprets Air Force directives for implementation.
  • Develops local management policies concerning the operation and utilization of the activity.
  • Responsible for the planning, scheduling marketing and coordinating of programs and other activities.
  • Ensures compliance of management resources, equipment, property control, cash handling, inventory, and all environmental and safety requirements.
  • Prepares NAF and APF budgets, completes analysis of operating statements and creates short- and long-range strategic plans.
  • Maintains a 5-year capital improvement plan.
  • Ensures all tools and equipment in all operations are maintained and in serviceable condition.
  • Maintains time and attendance records and approves leave.
  • Identifies and recommends training for employees.
  • Conducts OJT for employees and may assist guidance in complex automotive repairs or troubleshooting.
  • Responsible for recruitment and development of staff members.
  • Establishes positions and selects applicants.
  • Establishes an internal performance management system to ensure proper assignments, review and evaluation of employee performance.

  • FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements.
  • You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
