About the Role
This position serves as an Attorney-Adviser to a Member of the National Labor Relations Board. The Board is responsible for the adjudication of unfair labor practice cases and representation cases arising under the provisions of the National Labor Relations Act of 1935, as amended.
What You'll Do
- →As a Attorney-Adviser (Labor) (Counsel to Board Member), GS-0905-14, your typical work assignments may include: Researching the most difficult issues arising under the National Labor Relations Act and/or administrative law.
- →Consulting with Board Members, Assistant Chief Counsels, Deputy Chief Counsels, Chief Counsels and other attorneys on other Board Members' in preparing decisions and revisions in official Board decisions and opinions.
- →Orally presenting to Board Members the merits of cases that often involve difficult or novel issues of law and related policy rationales and outcomes.
- →Performing other duties as assigned.
