About the Role
About the Position: This position is located with the Headquarters of the Department of the Army, U.S. Army Legal Services Agency, Procurement Fraud Division at Fort Belvoir, VA. If you are currently serving in a permanent, competitive service appointment in the Federal service, and are selected for this position, the appointment will remove you from the competitive service while you occupy this position.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as senior legal adviser within the Army Procurement Fraud Division (PFD).
- →Reviews Army procurement fraud and irregularities cases that routinely involve extremely complex and difficult legal and factual issues.
- →Conducts the preparation and presentation of cases before the Army Suspension and Debarment Official that frequently involve matching professional skills against some of the most distinguished and highly paid legal talent in the country.
- →Acts as principal attorney in charge of recommending the policies and developing the procedures and regulations implementing new or amended legislation for the Army.
- →Ensures comprehensive developments of facts and issues and appropriate case strategy.
- →Provides guidance, recommendations and advice on procurement fraud to command attorneys, investigators and other high level organizations.
- →Provides quality procurement fraud training to Army military and civilian attorneys, investigators and other organizations.
Requirements
