This position is designated as SES, Career Reserved. USDA structures its SES positions into position levels. This is a position level 2 with a salary range of $204,122.00 - $216,010.00 per year. Exceptions to the salary cap may be considered in certain circumstances. SES employees are also eligible to receive bonuses and performance-based awards. What You'll Do
- →The incumbent will serve as the Chief Technology Officer for the Office of the Chief Information Officer Participates fully with the OCIO leadership team and other key policy officials in formulating and determining long-range and current policies and programs of the agency, as they affect and/or relate to functions and activities of the data center.
- →Is held accountable for the overall planning, management, direction and coordination of Enterprise Data Center Operations functions and activities.
- →Determines Enterprise Data Center policy and plans implementing programs within broad bounds and authority delegated; and recommends and justifies those requiring approval by higher authority to officials concerned.
- →Directs and coordinates the development of Enterprise Data Center funding arrangements and recommends and justifies them to the Deputy Chief Information Officer and other key officials.
