About the Role
You will serve as a ASSISTANT NUCLEAR PRODUCTION MANAGER in the NUCLEAR PRODUCTION MANAGER, OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will manage all planning, production, and testing for the nuclear work package on the ship (except refueling).
- →You will inspect ships to ensure work is being performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures.
- →You will be responsible for ensuring the Shipyard’s nuclear work and testing on the project assigned is planned and executed to ensure workload and workforce planning is accomplished.
- →You will provide input to the Project Management Team on nuclear and non-nuclear interface items.
- →You will prepare and issue directives and memoranda to provide instructions, resolutions, and guidance for successful accomplishment of the production mission of the Shipyard.
