About the Role

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. What You'll Do

  • You will prepare and conduct briefs on the status of operation plans.
  • You will analyze the mission, tasks, functions and loading associated with proposed operations to identify the construction and repair projects necessary to support these planned operations.
  • You will prepare scopes of work, drafting planning documents, site visits/inspections, and contract execution.
  • You will , prepare/give presentations, including displays, to support the Business Line's role and/or stand on controversial problems.

Requirements

  • Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
  • OR A combination of college-level education, training, and/or technical experience that furnished (1) a thorough knowledge of the physical and mathematical sciences underlying engineering, and (2) a good understanding, both theoretical and practical, of the engineering sciences and techniques and their applications to one of the branches of engineering.
  • The adequacy of such background must be demonstrated by one of the following: (I) Professional registration or licensure: Current registration as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) by any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico.
  • Ordinarily, there should be either an established plan of intensive training to develop professional engineering competence, or several years of prior professional engineering-type experience, e.g., in interdisciplinary positions.
  • Applicants for the Professional Architecture Series must meet the following basic education requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Successful completion of a bachelor's or higher degree in architecture.
  • OR Have a combination of college-level education, training, and/or technical experience that furnished (1) a thorough knowledge of the arts and sciences underlying professional architecture, and (2) a good understanding, both theoretical and practical, of the architectural principles, methods, and techniques and their applications to the design and construction or improvement of buildings.
  • (Note - In the absence of college courses, 5 years of such experience is required).
