About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This is an Accountant position with USACE TULSA DISTRICT, RESOURCE MANAGEMENT OFFICE, FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING BRANCH LOCATED IN TULSA, OK
What You'll Do
- →Responsible for reviewing and analyzing accounts and evaluating account balances, trends, and conditions to provide guidance to operating officials addressing program funding requirements.
- →Provides accounting data, systems query support and advises program managers on budgetary and program data.
- →Establishes and/or oversees the establishment of chart of accounts for the purposes of maintaining cost accounts for program managers and advises program managers in charge of those accounts.
- →Interprets data base input and output listings and resolves accounting problems with program managers, program analysts and system accountants.
- →Distributes Revolving Fund cost to Corps sites and coordinates the establishment of cross charge purchase requests.
