This position is located in the Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC) Business Center (BC), Chief Financial Operations Office, Performance, Accountability, and Risk Division. The incumbent is the PARD-123, Appendix A lead/project manager/expert for assigned business process cycles.
What You'll Do
- →Partners with the business process owners to lead the A-123, Appendix A planning.
- →Partners with the independent auditors to enable knowledge transfer of business processes, including the key internal controls within the business processes.
- →Maintains liaison with customers, program officials, accountants, and management officials to identify problems and negotiate acceptable solutions.
- →Briefs FPAC and USDA executive level management on assessment progress and progress in correcting previously identified deficiencies in internal control over financial reporting/financial statements.
- →For the assigned business process cycles, communicates and coordinates with USDA's Office of the Chief Financial Officer's (OCFO) PARD Team.
- →Evaluates the severity of control deficiencies resulting from the tests of key internal controls over financial reporting/financial statements for the assigned business process cycles.
- →Identifies key internal controls over financial reporting, including key internal controls over FPAC agency financial statements.
