What You'll Do
- →As a senior accountant works on a business cycle team responsible for developing and designing new financial reporting requirement and approaches to be implemented agency wide.
- →Validates financial and accounting data and reports for one or more accounting programs, ensuring accuracy and conformation with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, government-wide accounting principles, requirements, and internal controls.
- →Develops new analytical reports and represent large, complex sets of data through visual representation.
- →Works with the process team to identify the need for new/revised KPIs and metrics.
- →Conducts independent analysis and investigation of broad process issues.
- →Provides data during annual audit reviews and determining valid data requirements to satisfy audits.
