About the Role
This position is located in the Division of Finance, Controller Branch, Headquarters of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support by planning and developing reports to support the administration, operation, and maintenance of an effective accounting and financial information system, accounting process, and financial reporting program benefiting the FDIC.
What You'll Do
- →At the full performance level, major duties include: Assists in developing new practices and techniques that will result in a more effective and efficient accounting and report process.
- →Develops analytical, accounting or financial reports in response to special assignments and requests.
- →Prepares worksheets and schedules to support financial statements, analytical reports, trial balances, and reconciliations.
- →Structures necessary papers, schedules, and supporting documentation when reporting results of studies or analyses.
- →Independently approaches, plans and coordinates work projects and assignments, identifies and resolves problems which may adversely impact the completion of assignments and develops recommendations, as necessary.
Requirements
- ✓Completion Of Financial Disclosure May Be Required.
- ✓Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) required.
- ✓CG-11 See Qualifications Section for information concerning substitution of education.
- ✓CG-12 There is no substitution of education for the experience for this position.
