This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Communications, Creative Services Group. As a Visual Information Specialist, GS-1084-13, you will serve as the focal point for the development and coordination of internal and external agency communications.
What You'll Do
- →Lead planning, development, and production of electronic, print, and corporate communication products aligned to CMS communication goals.
- →Assess target audiences and client needs, recommend visual media, and produce or direct production of communication products.
- →Review communication materials to ensure the desired effect on intended audiences and develop new approaches to improve results.
- →Monitor art and design quality for national, regional, and central office materials to ensure consistent CMS identity and adherence to guidelines.
- →Ensure visual products meet federal digital accessibility requirements and are optimized for web, mobile, and social media platforms.
- →Develop, maintain, and enforce agency-wide visual identity and branding standards, including style guides and design templates.
