This position is advertised at the GS-5 and GS-6 grade level with promotion potential to the GS-7. This position will be on the Dixie National Forest with a duty location of Panguitch, Utah. Oversees forest product permit sales, and front desk operations which include the sale of passes and permits, oversight and collection of monies from visitors. What You'll Do
- →Duties described are at the target grade, GS-07.
- →Supervises 20% or less of assigned duties.
- →Provides visitors with accurate and complete information that pertains to recreational opportunities, educational information, local area information, guides and pamphlets.
- →Troubleshoots and resolves any problems associated with front desk operations, personnel, equipment, or sales.
- →Organizes, inventories and maintains program equipment and supplies.
- →Provides input to the budget planning process by assisting with the overall estimation of materials, personnel, and supplies needed for work accomplishment.
- →Explains safety requirements and regulations to the public of the proper use of the national forest.
Requirements
- ✓Must be a U.S.
- ✓Citizen or National.
- ✓Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service or exempt.
- ✓Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check.
- ✓Per Public Law 104-134 all Federal employees are required to have federal payments made by direct deposit to their financial institution.
