THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a TRAINING TECHNICIAN, Position Description Number D2219000 and is part of the PA Deputy Chief of Staff G3, National Guard. 1 or more Position(s) may be hired against this Announcement.
What You'll Do
- →As a Training Technician, GS-1702-09, you will provide technical guidance and assistance to subordinate elements, the headquarters operations section, and other staff sections in planning, coordinating, preparing, conducting, and documenting individual and collective training.
- →Serve as the technical specialist in readiness reporting for the organization.
- →Manage and oversee the administration of the command's school program.
- →Make recommendations and assists in the preparation of yearly training budget requirements for submission to higher headquarters based on yearly training guidance and training calendar.
- →Ensure the proper forecasting, allocation, and usage of training ammunition within the command.
- →Assist in the preparation of plans and procedures for anti-terrorism/force protection and military support to civil authorities.
- →Provide input to the training officer for the assignment of work within the training and operations section.
- →Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- ✓Army National Guard Officers - An academic undergraduate degree with courses in education, grammar and composition, speech, psychology, guidance, and sociology; or, social and behavioral sciences is mandatory.
- ✓You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims.
- ✓To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
