About the Role
This position is in the Customer Service Directorate, Office of Integrated Veteran Care (IVC), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This position falls under the Deputy Chief of the Program Management Office. The incumbent is responsible for producing training materials such as user guides and job aids, maintaining and modifying training course content and/or materials, and conducting training courses.

- →Current employees of the Department of Veterans Affairs Duties include, but are not limited to: Performs work in the development of courses for Customer Service training programs.
- →Produces training products and materials such as reference manuals, user guides, job aids, instructor lesson plans, course outlines and agendas, exercise/activities, quizzes/exams, training plans, etc. based on course requirements and training needs assessment.
- →Supports senior trainers in coursework development or modification.
- →Develops complete, full-length courses in areas of a subject matter field and with assistance from senior or lead trainers.
- →Engages with senior instructors on the most up-to-date delivery methodologies.
- →Establishes positive working relationships with stakeholders and integral program areas to determine training needs and gaps.
- →Maintains accuracy, currency, relevancy, and consistency of the content maintained within Customer Service training course materials, references and related documents.
- →Contributes to planning and organizational analyses of data and information, and considerable coordination and integration with other functional activities.
- →Instructs courses in a formal program of instruction.
