About the Role

Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community. We offer a team oriented environment comprised of military personnel, civilian employees, contractors and volunteers who keep the organization functioning smoothly and effectively.

What You'll Do

  • Serves as an instructor responsible for the direct delivery of training programs in an employee development section.
  • Responsible for assisting with designing new, or revising current courses and developing performance measures to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the MCCS training program.
  • Researches, plans and develops course materials that are technically and procedurally sound and in accordance with prescribed course framework such as; study guides, visual aids, simulations, written tests, training aids, and course outlines.
  • Organizes, illustrates, interprets and adapts instructional material as required to reach and motivate employees.
  • This position supports other installations and will require overnight travel on occasion.
  • Will coordinate the training program with other MCCS personnel.
  • May be required to research outside sources and obtain information, materials and costs to meet instructional needs.
  • Participates in special projects such as pilot programs, process improvement teams, focus groups and working groups.
  • Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy.
  • Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner.
  • Takes action to solve problems quickly.
  • Alerts the higher-level supervisor or proper point of contact for help when problems arise.
  • Adheres to safety regulations and standards.
  • Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor.
