You will serve as a Training Instructor (STARS) in the Air Traffic Control (ATC) Training Department of NAVAL AIR TECHNICAL TRAINING CENTER.
What You'll Do
- →You will provide formal classroom and practical laboratory instruction utilizing approved course materials, training aides, and other media in the basic skills area.
- →You will perform curriculum maintenance for the course material and all associated practical testing faults, ensuring Instructor Guides, Student Guides, and Schematics are current and up-to-date.
- →You will participate in student evaluation and counseling programs and student advisory boards in accordance with current directives.
- →You will review and validate class schedules, to include classroom assignments.
Requirements
- ✓In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: IOR - Graduate Education: Major study -- your major must be in a subject area related to the position to be filled.
- ✓A master's or equivalent graduate degree; or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.B. or J.D., if related.
