What You'll Do
- →Identify deviations from policy on instructor training and certification and identifies and assists in corrective actions.
- →Conduct in-depth reviews of instructional materials.
- →Conduct courses using a variety of instructional practices and methods to provide instruction such as Blackboard, Adobe Connect and conventional classroom presentation techniques.
- →Coordinate curriculum development by assisting in the design of instructional blocks providing guidance to other faculty members on academic standards and instructional objectives.
- →Develop lesson plans, course materials, criterion referenced performance tests and self instructional objectives.
- →Review training material to develop new materials in compliance with the instructional design.
- →Evaluate student presentations for appropriate techniques.
- →Evaluate instruction, and use of materials requiring in-depth knowledge of theories of educational course development and academic methods.
- →Communicate with staff and faculty on training.
- →Maintain liaisons to exchange course information to improve areas of instruction.
- →Incorporate emerging technologies into classroom setting to optimize learning outcomes.
- →Prepare correspondence regarding instructor training and certification.
- →Evaluate student feedback to modify courses and methods of instruction.
