This position is located in the DEA, Operations Division, Office of Training (OT), International Section (TRI), Mobile Unit A (OTIA). This position primary purpose is to serve as Instructor and Course Developer in the field of foreign law enforcement training to include Firearms, Small Unit Tactics and Close Quarter Combat, Evasive Driving, Land Navigation, Personnel Recovery (PR), Survival Techniques and Systems, Human Intelligence, and Operational Planning.
What You'll Do
- →Develops standards and guidelines for the technical accuracy and relevance in the course materials and adapt them to the locale of the course, students, and to adjust for unforeseen circumstances.
- →Leads meetings with personnel from other organizations and programs to develop or evaluate complex programs or specific highly technical training based on needs and available resources.
- →Plans and conducts studies that evaluate and predict program achievements and student performance and prepares interpretations of results and recommendations.
- →Serves as a role player for course practical exercises.
