THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a TRAINING ADMINISTRATOR (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D1775P01 and is part of the IL DCSIM, National Guard.
What You'll Do
- →As a TRAINING ADMINISTRATOR (TITLE 32), GS-1712-11, you will develop and implement, the Army National Guard (ARNG), Distributed Learning Program (DLP) within the respective state to achieve The Adjutant General's (TAG) training readiness objectives for assigned state and federal missions.
- →Major Duties - This is NOT an all-inclusive list: Provide readiness training and pre and post-mobilization training (PPMT) to Soldiers.
- →Coordinate with all other directorates and external agencies to develop and execute the State's Adjutant General's DLP goals, objectives and policies.
- →Responsible for the planning, integrating and coordinating the efforts of all agencies and offices participating in or supporting National Guard programs and events.
- →Keep abreast of changing technology and educational development as it relates to DL, and synthesizes highly specialized aspects of multiple fields, including educational technology, computer automation and telecommunications.
- →Plan and coordinate DL training opportunities for the state's National Guard (NG) Soldiers.
- →Conduct research and analyses to obtain vendors and internal sources of training, commensurate with training needs.
- →Coordinate training activities with other Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations Office (DCSOPS) branches, NGB, and various agencies to establish priority of course ware development and conversion requirements and priorities, consistent with current needs and future projection of training needs.
- →Schedule courses for individuals and groups.
- →Serve as a liaison between training providers and site administrators who oversee DL training and resolves program problems or issues.
- →Coordinate with the United States Property & Fiscal Officer (USPFO), Grant Office Representative (GOR) or state comptroller to design, implement and monitor various inter-agency agreements for the DL program and ensure proper flow of program income through the DL Cooperative Agreement.
- →Serve as the DL Program Fund Manager and coordinates all DL related budget and funding activities with the USPFO while performing all fund manager duties as required by regulation and law.
- →Responsible for the planning, budgeting and delivery of the State's DL program.
- →Aid in the development and implementation of policies, standard operating procedures, and practices associated with the management of the state's DL training program.

- ✓Irregular and/or overtime (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day.
