About the Position: The incumbent is responsible for the development, publishing, and implementation oversight of Joint and Combined Transportation and Distribution policies and procedures. What You'll Do
- →Provides advice to USFK J4 and other Senior leaders on the resolution of SOFA issues impacting USFK assigned and supporting Forces.
- →Provides guidance to the transportation branch staff for the employment of quantitative and qualitative methods to assess adequacy of Joint Policy and Procedures for the accomplishment of Korean Theater Transportation.
- →Conducts periodic staff visits to transportation field activities and users of transportation services.
- →Recommends specific courses of action to improve Joint operational efficiency or to correct deficiencies found during site staff assistance visits.
- →Determines transportation branch capabilities and resource requirements to accomplish/perform Armistice and Contingency functions as a Joint and Combined Staff to include accomplishing budget estimates and/or programing allocated funds.
