You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the SENSORS WEAPONS & LAUNCHERS DEPT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, PORT HUENEME. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as a Fleet Introduction and Sustainment Team Lead.
- →You will provide support in the areas of design, development, test, evaluation, production, installation, integration, in-service engineering and integrated logistics support.
- →You will provide support for the Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) Program and related subsystems, equipment and computer programs.
- →You will manage personnel and task scheduling for shipboard installation and fleet technical assistance projects.
- →You will serve as a system technical consultant expert and will maintain knowledge of design, configuration and problems of the CEC system.
- →You will conduct technical investigations related to design deficiencies of CEC including those of a highly complex nature originating in the Fleet or in newly developed equipment not yet introduced to the Fleet.
