You will serve as a Technician in the Surface Launch Missile Division, Sensors Weapons and Launchers Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER PORT HUENEME DIVISION.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as a Team Lead/Technician and directing complex and intricate operations in the Surface Launch Missile (SLM) field, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately, safely, and in accordance with technical directives.
- →You will assign specific tasks, demonstrate proper work methods, and provide technical guidance leveraging a deep understanding of ordnance systems and advanced mechanical/electrical skills.
- →You will ensure needed documentation, materials, and tools are available, coordinate production work for efficient personnel utilization, and meticulously check work in progress, while fostering a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
- →You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and utilize advanced test and measurement equipment to determine the operational status and serviceability of ordnance components.
- →You will analyze test results, identify root causes of malfunctions, and implement effective corrective actions, adjustments, or repairs to ensure proper functioning.
