You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the COMBAT SYSTEMS TEST & EVAL DEPT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, PORT HUENEME. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.
What You'll Do
- →You will be responsible for performing a variety of complex technical support project assignments directed toward the Aegis (and non-AEGIS) Combat System elements.
- →You will independently plan, organize, coordinate, and lead a team of technicians on the maintenance and repair of alignment equipment and tools.
- →You will repair the Analog Inclination Data Systems (AIDS), reels, sensors and master stations.
- →You will ensure sensors are calibrated and coordinate repair of any broken equipment.
- →You will document repairs with Discrepancy Report via Alignment Asset Inventory Management System (AAIMS) or other approved management system.
- →You will utilize the management system to monitor trends on equipment and tools that have required repair.
