Joining the Secret Service, Office of Technical Operations, Aviation and Airspace Security Division or Technical Security Division will allow you to provide specialized technical expertise and operational support, to develop and implement countermeasures to threats against protected persons and facilities, and to support criminal investigations conducted by the Secret Service. What You'll Do
- →The selectee will serve as a(n) Systems Engineer in the Office of Technical Operations.
- →Typical work assignments include: Develop and analyze system requirements, architecture, and integration for protective technologies Provide technical advice on hardware and software integration, ensuring operational effectiveness.
- →Prepare detailed technical documentation, specifications, and risk mitigation strategies for procurement and program management.
- →Coordinate with stakeholders, including program managers and interagency partners, to resolve complex engineering challenges.
- →Apply for this exciting opportunity to provide a full range of support to the division that is responsible for providing a technically secure environment for the President, Vice President and other protectees.
- →This Systems Engineer position starts at a salary of $143,913.00, GS -14 step 1, with potential to $187,093.00 GS-14 step 10.
Requirements
- ✓Citizenship is required.
- ✓Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service If selected for this position, you will be required to: Obtain and maintain a Top-Secret (SCI) Tier 5 clearance.
